Please note that for the safety of our nannies, only authorised legal guardians that are registered with the child passengers for that booking on the Happy platform, are allowed to travel during that booking.

Yes, the authorised legal guardian who has made the booking may request the nanny to stay with their children for a longer period of time. This request may be made either at the time of making the booking, or at a later time, through the chat function. As nannies will never leave the children unattended, nannies will remain with the children until a safe handover is complete. If the legal guardian is unable to collect their children, then the nanny will advise that the children will be taken to a Police Station.

Unlike rideshare companies, all of our drivers are nannies! All Happy nannies either have a minimum Cert III in Childcare, or are currently completing childcare education. In addition, all have at least 3 years of proven childcare experience, a Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, valid First Aid certificate & CPR training, and have passed our interview process. Our drivers have also undergone a Driving Background Check and passed a comprehensive car inspection. We have taken a lot of care in selecting only the best nannies, so you can be sure that your children are in safe hands and receive the best care. Happy is a true Ridecare™.
